SURF SHARK FISHING IN CALIFORNIA WITH A PROFESSIONAL LICENSED GUIDE
Encounter the amazing Leopard Shark - only found on the West Coast - and learn how to target California surf shark species from the beach with a professional guide for a fraction of the cost of a big game charter...
The beaches of Southern California are home to the stunning LEOPARD SHARK (Triakis semifasciata) - a beautiful, hard-fighting native surf species - and we LOVE helping anglers catch and release their first big “leo” or smash their PB with a huge Soupfin Shark!
Whilst the smaller leopard sharks are common catches, a unique approach and specialised tackle is needed to consistently target the larger leopard sharks from the beach. We specialise in helping our clients achieve that stunning fish-of-a-lifetime.
In 2019, we put over 60 leopard sharks over 50” on the sand with several fish over the magic 60” (5ft) mark to a best of 62”, all carefully released, plus a few other surprise species that only our amazing Pacific Ocean surf fishery can produce.
This year has been outstanding too with many larger leopards, big soup-fin sharks and huge rays. Check out our Instagram feed on the home page for the latest catches or call us on +1 (714) 642-5770 for up-to-the-minute info.
